Hi, I’m Laura, wife, mom, REALTOR®, and the person behind Mallard Co. Candles. I’ve always loved anything that makes a home feel warm, inviting, and lived in, and that’s really where all of this started.

Honestly, I got tired of spending a ridiculous amount of money on “luxury” candles that either barely smelled or lost their scent after one burn. I remember lighting one and thinking… there’s no way this is worth what I paid for it. So, I started researching, testing, pouring candles myself, and completely fell in love with the process.

What started as curiosity quickly turned into an obsession with creating candles that actually fill a room, look beautiful in your home, and feel elevated from start to finish. After a lot of testing, failed batches, and learning as I went, Mallard Co. was born.

Every candle is hand-poured in small batches using premium ingredients, elite fragrance blends, and vessels I genuinely love having in my own home. I care a lot about quality, clean aesthetics, and creating scents that make people walk into a room and immediately say, “What is that smell?”

More than anything, this business has become something really personal to me. It’s helped give me purpose, creativity, confidence, and a way to contribute to my family while still being present for the moments that matter most. None of this would exist without the people who support me, share my candles, place orders, and tell their friends about this little business of mine.
